Up for the Rising
That was some show. Bruce Springsteen’s head must have exploded when he walked out to a million faces as far as he could see, a gospel choir behind him, Lincoln looking down at him (no pressure there) and belted out “The Rising.” It was a great collective sigh, a giant leaf blower blasting away the past 8 years of horror in a sea of Li li li li li li li li li li li li li li li li li li li li li li li….
