Mercury is Retrograde

It has begun…until Feb. 1. Mercury, planet of annoyances and going back to the past. We had scanner issues, bush said goodbye—and never mentioned the really big news that happened today—the miraculous plane crash in the Hudson in which no one got hurt. The pilot was a true hero. He acted quickly and decisively. Juxtaposed with bush, who never did either in any situation in the past 8 years, was another example of the Universe creating better and funnier dramatic presentations than any show ever could. Bush can’t go retrograde fast enough.

The crash was a perfect example of Mercury retrograde, which affects travel and communications and makes things appear to go in reverse motion. The crazy circumstances—geese flying into both engines—the pilot goes back (retrograde), but then the “reverse” thing happened—a plane crash in which everyone was saved.

Obama will be inaugurated during Mercury retrograde but I think this represents the past, as he is the reincarnation of Lincoln. He has RE-turned to finish his aborted term. Perfect timing for Mercury retrograde.
