More Technology Than I Ever Imagined
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be learning so much at my age, especially technological things, which I never paid any attention to at all. My position is, if I can’t figure the thing out out by “poking around” (as my husband always accuses me of doing—“you just poke around”) then the thing has too many features. I don’t read manuals. Even if they were written in English. What kind of reading is a manual? I have never gotten through one. Although I did have to read the 100+ page Oregon driver’s manual after “poking around” the first time caused me to fail my driving test. (Complete humiliation. I do well on tests.) So I read the darn thing, still recall that the season for studded tires is Nov. 1 - April 1.
I never anticipated my need for technology so I never learned much about it. But I need it. So I’m nudging old brain cells and making them get up and do something. I have a web-log now. Yes, it’s web-log for now. I’m old-fashioned—Blog is something that comes out of your nose.
